Paper Prototyping

Well, paper prototyping was quite fun and productive. Mostly, we were finished for much of the time, so I honestly spent most of my time talking. We figured out our game idea, which is good. We were finished quite soon, so it made the process quite easy. I enjoyed it =]

5 New Game Ideas

Idea 1: I believe you could do a fill in the blank game about the technology involved in civics and being a citizen. You would be given a list of words, and questions. The questions will have a blank space where the word goes. You win by filling in all of the blanks.

Idea 2: I believe you could do a word search game about the enngineering involved in making citizenship easier. This could be things between bridges, transportation, or many other things. You basically just circle (or mark through/underline) each word you find. You win by finding all of the words.

Idea 3: I believe you could do a crossword puzzle game about the technology involved in citizenship. This also could use things like bridges, transportation, or many other things. There is a list of questions or statements where there is a word needed. The words go in crossing blank boxes. You win by filling in all of the blank boxes.

Idea 4: I believe you could do an action dodging strategy game (math used in strategy) about a current news event (a good example could be the chilean mining incident that happened earlier this year). You win by beating all the levels.

Idea 5: I believe you could do an adventure game in which you go around convincing people to help you build a bridge. You need help from your fellow citizens. You can go to places like churches, restaraunts, parks, or other public places. You win by completing the bridge in time.

Game Synopsis

I will have my game synopsis up hopefully in my next post. It's saved on my computer and my computer isn't working right now. Either way I'm excited because I think we might have a shot at winning.
