Oranges Are Juicy

Like I said before, our game is finished.  We've been finished for about 3 or 4 school days.  It took us a descent amount of time I guess, but we're the first finished in or class.  I take that back, I might add sound if I become bored in this class or something.  It's been a slow few days, so I think I'll probably touch up a few of the things on my game. 

By the way, I like oranges, and I didn't get to eat my piece of orange yesterday. *sigh*

OUR GAME IS FINISHED!

Well, it practically is anyway. I have all of the code and everything, i just need to make my symbols and stuff look a little better. That's it. That's everything. I can't believe it's practically finished now. Yay!

Our Game Is Going Well

   I'm supposed to blog about my next scene, but I've just been skipping around so much that there isn't really a next scene. For instance, I have scene 20 finished but not scene 10. I've just been doing random slides, just whatever is easiest to complete. Also, I need Amanda to finish some of the art for some scenes. Once they're finished, I'll have everything I need for my game, but I'll need to code it.
   I have most of my game finished already. I need to maybe put a better background for some of the gameplay slides, but my gameplay is mostly finished. I'm doing quite well. Mr. wants me to make my game prettier, so I'll have to do that once I finish.

Our Principal's Visit

Our principal, Mr. Lucas, visited our class on friday.  He talked about career opportunities that this class could help, and he also talked about the pay that can be recieved from a job which is helped by this class.  He tried telling us that sticking to this class and it's teachings would be good for our future, and I agree.

Flash MiniGame Presentations!

   So, I presented my minigame less than an hour ago. It went okay, but I apparently need more learning in my gamescene, which I will probably use something like wavecurrents. I'm not sure, but I'm sure things will work out.
   In other news, I have been having a horrible day. I guess that the presentations were "OK" in a sense, but I've just had a rough morning. My hair looks horrible (even though amanda complimented it, which I appreciate) and I'm so hungry! I also need to do a load of homework later. I have a project, questions, and other things. I really need to start working out too; I feel like a weakling and a loser sometimes. Also, Travis confused me out of my mind this morning in geometry, talking about something that I couldn't even understand. I had to have Brent help me because Travis isn't very smart sometimes. Shaving has become something I loathe, to the point where I don't even do it more than once a weak. I normally just trim my face and what not because I'm too lazy to shave. Gosh, I feel like I've written about the most random things for this blog post, and I feel like I'm just rambling on about nothing at this point. My back is still sore, and I think I need a massage or something because of all of this stress I get sometimes. And oh my gosh! I got the worst headache last night at Brent's and I could hear the highest pitch noise from nowhere. IT HURT! Oh well, things could be worse I suppose.
   I showed my mom Imogen Heap and she hated her! Who hates on Immi!?!?!? She is amazing. Though, I showed my mom one of her more sad songs, and she thought the song was too depressing and sounded bad, but that just shows how silly she can be sometimes. She didn't like Regina Spektor either, but that's her loss. She can keep listening to Golddigger on replay for all I care.
   I suppose I should end this blog post, but I don't really have anything to say that could end it, so good day!

Sound Among Other Things

Well, my stupid computer wouldn't even play most of the sounds, and the ones that did play I couldn't download.  The only site that worked was a site I needed an account on, and I certainly didn't feel like doing that.  Well, at least I'm about 1/7th finished with my game, and that's pretty good to be the third of March.  I was expecting much less. Hopefully things keep going good and such.

Finally!

Our game demo is complete! After weeks of coding agony, we've finally finished it.  I think it's pretty good, and it should go well in the presentation. That was literally one of the hardest assignments I've done. Hopefully, flash won't be so difficult from now on. I was clueless, and I couldn't figure out how to fix my game at all. Though, it works now and that's all that matters.

Trace Tool

I used the Bitmap Tracetool today.  It seemed very easy to use, for it felt like it didn't take much to do.  I just put a picture onto Flash, then used it with basically the click of a button.  About the only thing I felt incredibly helped me was it helping me be able to change and remove colors.

Adobe Flash

Well, Flash has been very mean to me lately. I'm still working on my game demo and I'm trying to get the buttons to work but it's not coming very easily. I'm planning on finishing the demo by the end of next week, then immediately starting on my game.

Anyway, I saw "The Social Network" last night and saw how much coding some people do. The star, whose character is a real person, created Facebook in about a week. This nearly blew my mind.

Flash, and Forgetfulness

Well, apparently I "forgot" about the game demo, even though no one even mentioned it during class. I did some of it yesterday, and I was quite upset that I hadn't heard about it. I was about to throw a fit because I had to do so much. I learned how to make a button (sort of). I loathed yesterday, spending almost the whole class period trying to figure out flash, which I have started to believe is just plain stupid. I no longer like this class, because I don't feel like I'm learning anything. There hasn't been much I've learned, I've just looked at how the wiki said to do something and did it exactly how to do it. Also, I can't get my video blog to upload for some reason.
